Get to the Root of Your Pain
We all know that stress makes us tense. But people don’t always make the connection between stress and pain. Sometimes even an acute injury can be traced back to a stressful moment. Or you may find that you have chronic pain in your muscles or joints that has gradually increased due to physical or emotional stress.
At your first appointment, I will do a full evaluation of your case. This allows me to understand why you have pain so that your treatments will be effective and long-lasting.
Pain can show up anywhere in the body:
- Low back
- Side or back of the leg
- Sciatic nerve
- Neck and shoulders
- Heel and foot
- Face and Head
- Generalized all-over pain
Stress may also show up slightly differently in your physical body: tightness, numbness, tingling, pressure, sensations of heat or cold.
My approach to pain treatment depends upon overall system balance and stress relief. Where individual muscles have gotten knotted and tight, I often will also use localized trigger point therapy (also known as dry needling). My goal is to get results for you as quickly as possible so you can go back to living a life that you love, stress-free and without pain.
